What a BEAUTIFUL home. How lucky was I to have been able to sell it! We had a quick turn around on this property, so it took some extra time helping get items packed, boxes to storage, and the home staged well for photos in hopes of selling quickly. With about three weeks to prepare, I was making daily trips to the home to either assist in storage runs, clean up different parts of the home, or prep the exterior. But it was all worth it to have an incredibly tidy and staged home perfect for its next owner!
Once I was able to get the home listed, it was decently quick turnaround. I hosted an opening weekend open house (something I do for all new listings), attendance was decent, but nothing to write home about. Nonetheless, I pushed marketing pretty hard. Two days after the open house we had a showing that was followed by a quick call from the other agent letting me know her clients were interested in the home! I was ecstatic as this was my first listing as an agent! After a few days we received a really good offer that was accepted with minor changes. From there on the transaction was fairly smooth! With minor repairs being requested and fulfilled throughout due diligence, and moving prep underway towards the end, we did not encounter many issues. After closing, the buyers were able to move into a rental home for two months while they waited for their new home to be available! A wonderful first listing experience that provided me with a great foundation.
